Dry eye syndrome is a disease of great frequency among the general population and increasing in incidence among the Italian and Western population. For the treatment of dry eye, the ophthalmologist uses a series of products mainly with moisturizing and lubricating characteristics to make the symptom disappear, which is often very painful for the patient. TSP is an ophthalmic solution that contains a plant substance, extracted from the seeds of the Tamarindus indica plant, useful for corneal protection, transparent, viscoelastic, sterile.
TSP make a film on the ocular surface capable of lubricating and humidifying the cornea and conjunctiva, protecting them from irritation due to environmental physical causes (wind, prolonged exposure to sunlight, cigarette smoke, dry air), visual stress (intense eye strain, video terminals) or mechanical factors (contact lenses, eye surgery).
TSP, thanks to its muco-mimetic property, is suitable for use in all types of dry eye, thanks to the increasing dosage formulations. Finally, the product is also suitable for people who are unable to use Hyaluronic Acid-based eye drops.
Composition
TS-Polysaccharide, mannitol, biphasic sodium phosphate, monophasic sodium phosphate, water for injections (benzalkonium chloride in multidose bottle).
Preservation
To be stored at a temperature below 25° C in a cool, dry place. The product must be used within 30 days of opening the bottle. Do not waste into the environment after use.
